OCAD launches 2009/10 Scholarships and Awards Programs
February 3, 2010
OCAD’s Scholarships & Awards Committee and the Financial Aid & Awards Office are pleased to launch the 2009/10 Scholarships and Awards Programs, recognizing student excellence.
Each program and year level offers a variety of scholarships and awards based on grades and/or studio/course work. Scholarships and awards are different from bursaries, which are distributed on the basis of financial need.
The Awards Program recognizes excellence in each program at the second-, third- and fourth-year level on the basis of studio work as well as, for Liberal Studies achievement, on the basis of coursework completed. OCAD medals will be given in each program at the fourth-year level as part of the Awards Program. An application is required. The deadline to apply is March 26, 2010.
The Scholarships Program recognizes academic achievement (combined studio/Liberal Studies) and encourages further studies. Scholarships are given for each year level in Faculty of Design or Faculty of Art programs, as well as for specific Liberal Studies achievement on the basis of grades only. No application is required.
