Alumni invited to submit to Where They Are Now!

OCAD University alumni are invited to submit work for Where They Are Now!, a juried exhibition and sale that will encompass all of the university’s twelve disciplines.

Opening in November 2010 at the Art Square Gallery in Toronto (334 Dundas Street West, across from the Art Gallery of Ontario) Where They Are Now! offers alumni a great way to showcase their work and connect with OCADU and the OCADU Alumni Association. Submissions will be accepted until August 31, 2010. Download the submission form (PDF).

KEY DATES:

• Submission deadline: August 31, 2010
• Jury results: October 11, 2010
• Delivery of work selected for Where They Are Now!:
  Sunday, November 7, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.; Monday, November 8, between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at 100 McCaul Street, Room 249 (OCAD University Alumni Association Office)
• Exhibition and Sale: November 12 to 28, 2010
• Opening Reception: November 12, 2010

Proceeds will support the OCAD University Alumni Association. The OCAD University Alumni Association is committed to encouraging and fostering the spirit of fellowship and unity among its members while promoting the well-being, prestige and excellence of the university. The Alumni Association provides resources, information and activities for its members and believes their educational experience with the university is not confined to their years as a student, but continues throughout their lives.

The mission of the Alumni Association is to provide a networking forum to engage and serve its community of artists and designers, to encourage and support affiliation and partnerships within, and to provide support for OCAD staff and students.

The Alumni Association’s projects include crucial support of scholarships, awards and bursaries and the creation of alumni opportunities, include the OCADU Alumni Window Gallery and Where They Are Now!
