Wall Street Journal credits OCADU's
"world class computer-science and design programs"
July 23, 2010
In an article published today in the “Digital Network” section of the Wall Street Journal, writer Stuart Weinberg looks at Toronto’s emergence as a mobile-apps hub. Weinberg enumerates some of the key players, calling Toronto home to “one of the world’s biggest clusters of mobile-application companies this side of Silicon Valley.”
Weinberg also credits OCAD University: “Proximity to several schools with world class computer-science and design programs, such as the University of Waterloo and the Ontario College of Art & Design, is one reason for Toronto's emergence as a mobile-apps hub.”
