ENGLISH FOR ART & DESIGN
A Summer Program for ESL Students Entering First-Year at OCAD
July 26 to August 27, 2010
“This program is not just an English program but it is a very useful way to spend my time experiencing a facet of OCAD culture. It was like a condensed experience to learn how the actual semester will be. I want to recommend this program for those ESL students who feel like they are not prepared for university. Take the program, learn and experience what they teach. Take advantage of being early birds in August, then you will find yourself as an OCADian already!” –Jae (EAD student 2007)
Designed specifically for students who speak English as a second language, English for Art & Design is for OCAD students, taught by OCAD instructors.
As an OCAD student, you will be speaking English constantly, in class and outside of class. You will work on group projects with native speakers, discuss and debate with students and faculty, and make presentations about your art work in English.
English for Art & Design will help you get ready.
