ABOUT US
Tom Fairbairn, Career Services Advisor, is available for one-on-one and group consultation in the area of career exploration. With a Master's degree in English Language & Literature, Tom also holds a post-graduate Certificate in Career Development Knowledge. He is a certified practitioner/interpreter of many trait-type instruments, including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® and the Strong Interest Inventory.
The Career Resource Area has a number of books (e.g., "Insider Secrets to a Winning Job Search"; "1,000 Best Job Hunting Secrets"; "24 Hours to the Perfect Job Interview"; "Marketing Yourself"; "Perfect Portfolio"; "Grants Primer"; "On Your Own"), a work-station area, and is available NOW for students and recent graduates to work on resumés, cover letters, letters of intent, artists' statements, interview processes, job search skills and practices, and general career exploration.
